For 47 years, Theatre Arlington, located in the heart of Arlington, Texas in the Downtown Cultural Arts District, has provided the community with high-quality, award-winning theatrical productions to more than 30,000 patrons each season, while running a year-round theatre school and outreach programs for at-risk youth.

To Our Faithful Theatre Arlington Patrons and Family,

We miss you!  We have missed having the opportunity to entertain you and talk with you in the lobby and share our common love of Theatre.

We are thrilled to tell you that Live Theatre can open again on June 10, 2020!

We are busy creating and planning ways to entertain you that allow you to safely enjoy sometime at the Theatre.

Our priority at this time must be the safety of our patrons, cast, crew and entire Theatre Arlington family.   We have made the difficult decision to suspend the remaining 2019-2020 season which concludes August 31, 2020.  We plan to present Damn Yankees as soon as we are responsibly able to do so.  While we may not be able to present large scale productions at this time, we are working on fun ways to still bring you great quality entertainment and will be announcing upcoming opportunities soon.

If you are a season ticket holder or have made reservations for a show, our box office will be contacting you with options.  Your tickets will be good for any performance (with a reservation) through August 31, 2021.  You may also choose to donate your remaining tickets back to the theatre which would help us financially during this challenging time.  You will also be able to use those tickets for our Summer Cabaret Series.

Now that our restrictions have been lifted and we are able to present live theatre we have protocols in place to keep everyone as safe as possible.  Our facilities will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between every performance.  We will follow all CDC guidelines and stay current with best practices regarding safety.  We will send out more information to our ticket holders regarding safety rules and protocols.

We have more good news regarding our very popular summer camp programs!  After careful consideration we will proceed with 4 one-week camps for the month of July.  These camps will follow all CDC guideline, including social distancing, wearing masks, and will be limited to 8 campers per group and a total of 24 campers. Each group will meet in a separate area and will not interact with one another.  Camp will be structured with safety in mind while still allowing them to have a fun, creative experience.

Make plans now to come and enjoy our Summer Cabaret Series. On Friday and Saturday nights in July and August we will present some of the Metroplex’s best entertainers sharing their stories and songs.  We hope you can join us for a drink and some great music. You may use season tickets for any of the Cabaret performances.  We will continue to update this website with performance and camp information, so check back often. And, if you have not been to our Facebook page recently please check it out, too, for more up to date information about the Theatre.  Also, it helps us reach more people when you share our posts, so please share us. 😊

Again, we cannot wait to see you and share some great times together at Theatre Arlington. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.  Stay safe and take good care of yourselves and be kind to one another.

Best Wishes,

Steven D. Morris
Executive Producer
